There were lots of first times during our visit in Baguio, that includes riding a horse. It took us so long to pick the best horse amongst the group of horses. It’s so nice sitting very tall in this big horse. We were also having fun fitting their native Igorrot costume. The usual, we took photos and we head up the The Mansion.

This was our first visit in Baguio City, and yes it gave justice to its name the “Summer Capital of the Philippines”. It was around 4am when we arrived and it was surprisingly cold. We felt like we were in some other country because of temperature. We immediately checked in Ferrioni 2 Apartelle Suite. The following day, we went to Burnham Park to try the strawberry taho and their famous artificial lake boating. It’s kinda romantic even though we were four inside the boat including Jessie and Chris. It’s kinda scary at first but gradually we liked it and even took turns in rowing the boat.

We love eating seafood a lot, and it just so happen that some of mark’s teammates knows a place that we can enjoy eating seafood and catching them on our own. This nice place was in Lilo-an Cebu called D’ Pond. They offer pond fishing and you can actually ask their crew to cook what you’ve catch. The pond houses a lot of milk fish that is sold merely around 195php per kilo, cottages were 200php and you can stay there up until 6pm. They also provide fishing rod with wafer baits, yes the bait was actually made of sticky wafer.

Anyway, we had fun especially when everyone  made it a contest when we were comparing the number of milk fish that we can catch. Everybody enjoyed singing since there was also a karaoke machine that you can insert coins and sing ’til you drop.

A zoo located in the heart of Manila, Philippines. This amusement park serves a good place for family bonding specially during weekends. It houses a variety of flora and fauna (see pictures below of some animals).

This was our last stop on our 5-days Luzon tour with the decepticons.

The Manila Ocean Park is an oceanarium in Manila. Sad to say that when we went there it was still under construction and there were fewer attractions during that time. We instead went to their shopping center (which was half-done) and found ourselves buying some teeny-weeny stuff that includes some keychains, stickers and coin purse.

It was still fun, regardless of the idea that we did not actually went inside to see the aquatic animals since there weren’t any when we went there. Anyway it was a bad timing for such good opportunity, yet we’re still hoping to go there soon.

Intramuros, located along the southern bank of the Pasig River. In Latin, intramuros, literally “within the walls”, meaning within the wall enclosure of the city/fortress, also describes its structure as it is surrounded by thick, high walls and moats. During the Spanish colonial period, Intramuros was considered Manila itself.

We went to Intramuros after we toured around Rizal Park, passing the busy city of Manila. Buzzling with a lot of people from all walks of life, noises from vehicles and the usual city rush, we went in the walls of Intramuros feeling one of the old people that lurked the old city. We ate our lunch at the famous Bacolod Chicken House and went straight to Fort Santiago overlooking the Pasig River.
